APPLYING INSTRUCTIONS:
- For best results, use Setasilk paint on light-colored silk fabrics.
- Pre-wash and dry your fabric.
- Secure the fabric tightly on a frame.
- Sketch your design with a gutta or resist product.
- Once the outline is dry (usually after 1 day), use a fine brush to apply Setasilk paint inside the outlines.
- Setasilk paints are fluid, so use a minimal amount on your brush tip and start painting from the center, allowing the paint to spread naturally.
IRONING INSTRUCTIONS:
- After painting, let the fabric dry for at least 24 hours.
- Place a piece of paper or cloth on the back of the painted area.
- Iron the backside of the painted fabric to set the colors, making them permanent.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Avoid washing the painted fabric for 24 hours after ironing.
- When washing, use gentle hand washing techniques to preserve the vibrant colors.
